Wash hands before and after gym. Clean your equipment. Skip exercise if sick. But overall exercise bolsters our immune system and gives us strength. 

Get outside

Even if it is brief, fresh air can help calm and soothe our systems

Prioritize good sleep well

Stick to a consistent bedtime and wake up time. Avoid screens before bed.

Vitamin D

Normal levels of vitamin D helps the body make proteins to help kill off bacteria and viruses. The data might be mixed but check with your medical provider about your vitamin D level. 

Avoid alcohol

Binge drinking and excessive alcohol damages mucosal lining of our guts and this can impair our immune systems. Drink in moderation. 

Hydrate

Keep flushing the body with lots of fluids, being hydrated helps our systems run at their best.
